Gold spark Sp-991 20,000 mAh power bank review

I bought this power bank from Awok.com (UAE internet store) and I want to discuss about it, The details are:

Price: 39 DHS or $11
Capacity: 20,000 mAh
Input: 5V/1A
Output: 5V/1 & 2 A
Solar charge: 5V/200 mAh

Info written on power bank
Capacity check: I checked the capacity and it was only 5000 mAh, because it charged my device 2 times.(It had also an emergency power for light which worked for 1 hr If only used the torch.)
Solar panel: I put it on sun light for charge, it charged 20% pretty well in 7 days in direct sunlight(compared to other one's) how ever the solar panel is only for putting the battery awake. So it's not meant for charging.
Protection against fall: I throw it twice from 2 meter on the ground but nothing happened. The body was quiet scratched though but still it was working.
The lamp: It was very outstanding, It was on for 24 hrs for 3 days on full charge, and it was enough to light a 10 square land. It is very good for emergency situations, if you charge it with solar and put it on sun light, it would work for 24 hrs/4 days.
Mini LED: It also had a small blue LED for other usages, it had a very low light but still quiet good in the fully dark place, it was only enough to wake up at night and go to the kitchen for some water and waking up no body.
Charging: at 700 mAh charge it charged my device (which is 2000 mAh) twice, and when the capacity is full on 1 mAh it did it in 1 and half hours, it was quiet good to charge your device with it.
Weight: nearly 400 g, it was quiet heavy for a 5000 mAh power bank.

Summery:
The company that makes these is from china and of course they are cheating in building these, but if you look at the price, I will find it quiet good to have it.
This power bank is good only for using it's light and charging with solar panel , but charging a device is't quiet good for this power bank, what loved from this power bank was it's light, Solar panel, LED torch, the remaining is pure garbage.
DO NOT charge your phone with this powerbank it has a negative effect on the battery health.

Tips for radio

Radio may sound a bit old but it is popular around the world, especially when now a days cars are equipped with it! Currently satellites, local, and global channel's and signal's provide's us with radio, local channel's which is "FM" and global channel's which are "AM"
In some cases, radio won't work properly for you:

  •   Bad direction: you might think that radio has nothing in common with direction, but unlike it, it is one of the most important thing's you should know, rotate the radio until you find the best sound quality.
  • High voltage electricity: the electrical cables or devices avoids the radio's antenna to detect signals. This is why sometimes your car's radio fails for a moment to get signal's, especially when you move under the electrical cables.
  • Charging: charging the radio when you want to use it is a bad idea, you will only get wired sounds, so charge it then you can use it.
  • Low signal: If your house has low window's, or your location is at the signal's blind spot, try to use "AM" instead, or put the radio in high altitude.
  • Antenna break: In this case you should put something metal instead of your radio's antenna, for example you can use an aluminum foil, or a wire, even your pin could work!

Android or IOS? | Which is the best

Mobile phones now have a wide range of usage in life, not just for calling or texting, you can do various type of jobs with your phone.
There are 2 popular operating systems for phone, one of them is android and the other one is IOS, IOS is used in Apple devices while android isn't just limited with one company. Samsung, Huawei, HTC, Motorola, etc. All of them use an android operating system powered by GOOGLE.
If you want Super security, use IOS, IOS is very secure and limited, so you can't do what you want with them. For example, Bluetooth in IOS can only connect with other IOS systems, you can't download anything you want on the web or other applications, only authorized apps and website are eligible for download.
This makes IOS so secure against malware, virus, spyware etc. You won't have any system failure or apps with a bad codes.
Android is an open source operating system, means you can easily change your device codes, or run ANY app in your device. Downloading content isn't limited. You can easily edit, download, run, install any application or other content in device.
This makes android devices ready for a destination for malware and spyware or even viruses in the other words your system is exposed for anything. No matter good or bad.
Usually editors or creative a creative person buy's an android device, but a person with important file's or the one's that want their file's and identity to be safe, use an IOS operating system, that is why usually celebrity's use IOS devices.

Powerbanks | buying tips

In this modern world, humans need to have an access to power in any place because of the electronic devices that they carry, so the researches find out a solution for that and they created "Power bank".
Power banks as their name, are a place that can store power or in the other words "electricity", these devices come with many size, shapes and colors, how ever not every power banks are suitable for use.
There are many manufactures that make power banks, mostly as you know are from "China", some have good quality and some don't.
The best power bank brand is Xiaomi, which is from china, but has a very good quality for charging or even breaking someone's head.
Other brands from china, which don't have a name, is a piece of junk, they don't print the real capacity, their battery's are old and they don't have a good resistance against humidity, heat, or even shock, they are usually cheap and many people buy them. Remember that advice that said: "Nothing is cheap for no reason."

  • Check the body before purchase.
  • Make sure that they have a recognized brand and they have a "How to use" paper inside.
  • There are no power banks under $ 20 that have more than 10 ampere.
  • Never put in direct sun except for solar one's.
  • Never put in high humidity.
  • Don't use your device when plugged to power bank.

Tablet's?

Tablets are an electronic device with a big touch screen. They are usually an android device and made by electronic company's like Samsung, Sony, Apple, Huawei, HTC, etc.
their big size make's them difficult to move around but they are really useful because of their service, so we don't recommend it to you if you want to have something small and easy to transport.
Currently Samsung has the most sell of tablet's, models like Tab 4, Tab 3,Tab 2,Tab E but apple also has a good sell though.
Buying a tablet is good for these usage's:

  • Playing games.
  • Using it in conferences.
  • Presenting something.
  • Online searches.
  • Office works.
  • Create or present power point, word, excel etc. (For creating I recommend laptops
  • Watching movies
  • Less battery usage.
They have also some disadvantages:
  •  they are not suitable for calling.
  • they have a high risk to break.
  •  They usually don't have good cameras
Which model to buy:
As I said before Samsung is really popular between the users, how ever an Ipad is also a good choice.

Difference between normal and SSD hard disks

Normal hard disks use a disk to store data, like the CD, the disk moves in circles and the header finds the place of the folder on the disk and then reads the data that is stored, and simply shows them on the PC.
SSD hard disks are more like to RAM but they are not temporary they use chips to store data, which increases the speed of the data transfer much more than normal hard disks.

Learn to buy PC

  • CPU:
CPU stands for "Central processing unit" or in other words the laptops "Brain". This part is one of the most expensive parts and the most important one, it does all calculation for your PC. The most common company is Intel, which is the best and the cheapest in CPU's. the speed of the CPU is counted by giga hertz. the bigger the GHz number the fastest the CPU is. This is a list of best CPU's from the slow to the fastest:

  1. Atom, Celeron, Pentium 4 etc.
  2. i3
  3. i5
  4. i7
each CPU has a generation, the higher the generation the fastest the CPU is.

  • RAM:
RAM stands for "Random access memory", this memory is used to temporary import the hard disk files into the RAM, because hard disk is slow to run the files or application the files are moved to RAM on startup then they are used & edited inside the RAM, this why we see "loading..." when opening an app, the PC moves them to the RAM, for fast access. RAMs have many shapes and sizes the higher the capacity, the faster your PC.
NOTE: using 2 different RAM capacity's will make problems for your PC, if you buy a 2 GB RAM and your PC has 2 RAM inputs, buy the other one also 2 GB, difference in capacity's means difference in speeds, this will make your PC slow.

  • Hard disk and screen's:

This is based on your usage and your needs, if you only need 1TB capacity and you buy a 2TB PC, it won't just cost you more, but make's your PC heavier. so measure your needs before purchase.
Screen is also based on your needs, for gaming usually big screens are recommended, try to buy the screen that fit's you and won't makes your PC heavy.

USB flash drives are now the most common ways to save data, they are nearly every where, schools, university's, office's, houses, etc. Their cheap price and their small size plus a good capacity makes them ready for every thing, you can now have a USB flash for $5 or even cheaper to store your data.
in another point of view they are some times facing us problem, use tips below to maximize your protection.

  • If you don't want the virus to eat your data, when you plug it to somewhere you don't know, don't open the files with double click, use right click + open to avoid viruses entering your files.
  • Scan your USB regularly with an updated and secure anti-virus. (Kaspersky, symantec, Norton are the best USB scanners)
  • If you plug your USB and didn't find anything don't get scared! simply go to control panel < folder options < view , then remove the ticks from :
Hide empty drives, Hide extensions for  known file types, Hide folder merge conflicts, Hide protected operating system files.

Now go to your USB, you will find an unusual folder like your USB icon, click it and you will find your files inside.

  • Defragmenting your USB makes it faster top use.
  • The USB that you buy has less space than it says, for example a  8 GB flash you will only have 7.2 GB storage 0.8 GB goes for system files.simply find the original spaces for the USB drives by subtracting 10% of the written space.
  • Never remove the header to long, dust and air makes the USB header dusty and rusty, so it may be unusable and you lose all of your data.
